Lungo Mare
Tourism has become a major industry in recent years, with many hotels, recreational centers, and vast beaches. The city has a good view over the Bay of Vlorë, which is considered the frontier between the Adriatic Sea and the Ionian Sea.
Kanina
This castle was built 6 kilometres from Vlorë.It was built on the site of an ancient settlement, one of the oldest in the Vlora region.It is believed to have been erected in the 3rd century B.C and was the center of the Principality of Valona in the 14th century. The settlement covers an area of 3.6 hectares.
Zvernec
The island is covered with tall pine trees and is just east of a much smaller island. It is 430m in length and has a maximum width of 300m. Zvërnec Island is connected to the mainland by a 270m long wooden bridge. The island contains the 13th-14th century Byzantine Zvërnec Monastery.
Karaburun
The Cave of Haxhi Ali is a cave formed from limestone located in the Karaburun Peninsula near Vlorë.The cave was named after an Albanian warrior who fled with his son in this cave. Archaeological objects has been found, that prove that this cave was used by traders during ancient times.
Monastery of Zvernec
The St. Mary's Monastery , also known as the Monastery of Dormition of Theotokos Mary, is a medieval Byzantine church in Zvërnec Island inside the Narta Lagoon northwest of the city of Vlorë of Southern Albania.
The monument of indipendence
The Monument of Independence is dedicated to the Albanian Declaration of Independence .It is found in the Flag's Plaza, in Vlore. In the center of the monument is the sculpture of Ismail Qemali, the leader of the Albanian national movement and founder of Independent Albania.
The museum of indipendence
This national museum offers the most comprehensive information regarding the most culminating events in the life of a country. It was in the famous balcony of this bright yellow, traditional house that Ismail Qemali raised the Albanian flag in 1912 and declared indipendence.
The forest of soda
The forest of soda was build in 1947-48 from villagers and students . It was part of a project to make all the coast green. It covers an area of 5 km length and 1.5 km width.It is the perfect place to take your bike and go for a ride throught the long tunel that the branches of the trees make.
The island of Sazani
Otranto and the entrance to the Bay of Vlorë, forming the border between the Adriatic and Ionian Sea.In addition to being the largest island in Albania, it is a military zone and sometimes in clear weather it is visible from the coast of Italy.
Karaburun
It is called the Dafina's cave , is one of the most beautiful atractions in Karaburun.It has both the small bay where you can go using a boat and enjoy the beach or explore the gave that is a miracle itself with cristal clear water.
